COCAB provides valuable feedback on health care accessibility, supports equal health opportunities for everyone, and guides projects like giving grants to local groups that are making a difference.

Recent accomplishments

In 2024, COCAB awarded its first-ever $15,000 grant to Us First Initiatives, a peer-led organization supporting Black/African American youth and adults impacted by mental health and addiction. The grant funded their second annual Healing Summit. COCAB looks forward to building further partnership with Us First Initiatives and other future grant recipients!
